We have had strong indications that it was not a matter of if but when Nike would debut a signature sneaker for Victor Wembanyama and it now appears those have been confirmed.
According to Sayitwityakicks, an image of the maiden sneaker for the San Antonio Spurs phenom has come to light. As was to be expected, they bear little resemblance to the prototype featured months back. What is depicted is a sneaker that has the shape of a running shoe and features a largely orange aesthetic, with a predominantly orange lizard print upper, with a lighter overlay of the same material on the side and an even lighter underlayer on the sides.
A pale orange Swoosh is present on the lateral side, while underneath the upper resides a two-tone orange midsole and outsole.
At this point, there is no word on a potential release date, but we will report it as soon as it avails itself.
